Lauren Alaina was born November 8, 1994 in Rossville, Georgia. She has always loved to song. She grew up with a good Christian. She loved to sing at church, school, restaurants and gatherings. She would go all over just to get a chance to sing. Her mom and dad would only let her go within a 30 mile radius from where she lived. When Lauren was only three years old, her mom said that she hit the high note perfectly on a Dixie Chicks song "When You Were Mine".
When she was only 16, she was on American Idol and she did extremely well on the show. All of the judges loved her, she was one of there favorites. She made it up to the last two. Being her and Scotty McCreery. Lauren ended up being the runner up. Even though she didn't win American Idol, she still released a song called "Like My Mother Does". It was a big hit for her and she is soon to have more songs out.

I was wishing that she would have won American Idol!! She sounds amazing with Scotty. She is definitely one of my favorites.
I don't think I'm familiar with her at all. It's nice she was able to get such an early start at what she loves, though!
